AirLab Pro continuously monitors 10 indoor air quality indicators: PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, nitrogen oxides, temperature, humidity and Mould Risk. It also combines the key readings into a simple, colour-coded AirLab Indoor AQI, helping you understand your overall air quality at a glance.

No, the AirLab Pro comes fully factory-calibrated and is ready to use out of the box. However, several sensors require a short stabilisation period to adapt to your environment and deliver the most accurate readings.

Place AirLab Pro in a frequently occupied indoor room, ideally on a stable surface around normal breathing height with clear airflow around the inlet grille.

Keep it away from direct sunlight, windows, doors, HVAC vents, fans, air purifiers, cooking appliances and other sources of strong airflow or rapidly changing heat and humidity. Avoid enclosed locations such as cupboards, shelves with restricted airflow or areas where condensation or water exposure may occur.

The Mould Risk Indicator on the AirLab Pro estimates the likelihood of mould growth by analysing temperature and humidity trends over time. It does not detect mould spores directly; instead, it calculates a risk percentage from 0 to 100% based on how conducive the environment is to the development of common indoor moulds, acting as an early-warning indicator so you can take further action.

AirLab Pro provides up to 16 hours of portable use on a full charge, making it easy to move between rooms and monitor air quality wherever you go. For continuous monitoring in a fixed location, simply keep it connected to USB-C power.

The free AirLab app adds remote monitoring, smartphone notifications, historical trends and additional device settings.

You can customise alerts for CO₂, PM2.5, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) directly through the AirLab app. While air quality thresholds such as Optimal and Suboptimal are fixed and based on EPA guidance, you can choose the alert trigger level for these metrics. The app also allows you to toggle device alerts on or off, so you can disable audible alerts from the device while still receiving smartphone notifications, depending on your phone’s settings.

Yes. The AirLab app provides daily, weekly and monthly historical trends across each monitored metric for up to one year, helping you identify air quality patterns, gain key insights and take informed action.

The AirLab Pro and AirLab app support both Australian/British and U.S. settings, using the corresponding regional spelling and displaying temperatures in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit, respectively. To switch between regional preferences, click the function button once.

Yes. Add an AirLab Pro to each important room and connect every device to the same AirLab account. The app brings them together in one place, allowing you to check live conditions throughout your home without moving a single monitor between rooms.

There is no set limit to the number of AirLab Pro devices you can add to one AirLab account. Add devices across as many rooms, floors, homes or workplaces as needed, then name each one according to where it is placed for easier monitoring.

Yes. Each AirLab Pro appears separately in the app, making it easy to compare current readings and identify which rooms experience higher CO₂, particles, chemicals, humidity or other air quality concerns.

AirLab Pro includes a 24-month limited warranty. Register your device within 60 days of purchase to receive an additional 12 months of coverage at no cost, extending the total warranty period to 36 months. Registration does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Each box includes one AirLab Pro Indoor Air Quality Monitor, one USB-C cable and a user manual. The AirLab app is available as a free download for compatible iOS and Android devices.

Yes. AirLab Pro uses USB-C power, and additional compatible cables can be used. AusAir also offers a longer 2-metre USB-C cable separately for rooms where the nearest power point is further away.
